Don’t You Take Care of Your Mother?

A mother always looks after us and she takes the most of our care but when it comes to taking her care, the children usually take a back step. Children would never realise that how the mother has worked hard the whole life to turn them up into individuals they are today. If they are able to stand on their own and can face the world, it is only because there was a mother behind to support them everywhere. The same mother when looses your father is considered a financial liability and the children very happily escorts her to Vrindavan and never call her back.

Is it really difficult to take care of a mother? Can’t these children look after a mother who is already old and may not live many years. Doesn’t the grandmother have the right to stay and play with her grandchildren. Unfortunately, there are many orthodox families and at the same time, many extra advanced children, who just do not wish to keep the widow mother with them. However, for these unfortunate females, the organisations like Pyari Maa Foundation have come up to mend things.

Pyari Maa foundation is working hard to gather all the widows of the country together to provide them a comfortable living. The widows are giving daily jobs of their candidature and they are earning for themselves. Their confidence is boosted and they are happy to be here.

A Little Training And The Widows Can Earn Their Own Living

Loosing one’s partner is a very painful experience. For most of the Indian widows, whether old or young, this state creates a condition of loneliness, void and emptiness in the world. And, if you do not have a comforting family to back you, your life can be miserable. We have observed plenty of abandoned widows in Vrindavan who are left by their families and are instructed not to return again. Being a widow is not easy in this world. There is a bigger responsibility that you have to bore on your shoulders. You have to be financially independent because there will be no one to look after you.

In India, there are many opportunities of widows that give them a chance to make their living and stand on their own in the world again. There are many elder care homes in Vrindavan which not only look after these widows but they also ensure that these widows are given the chance to avail educational opportunities and create a living for themselves.

The widows in these elder care homes are able to socialise well and as we say that the grief and loss of a widow is only understood by a widow. At these institutions, these widows get a chance to talk to similar females and relax themselves. When they work together, they can encourage everyone to work for their own betterment.
